The site is owned by "Billy Jack," a Private Investigator with over 23 years experience in California CCW issues, including victories in Federal Court and the preparation of CCW lawsuits through extensive use of the Public Records Act (PRA), mostly settled out of court in the favor of our clients.

Billy Jack is backed by experienced attorneys and a team of enthusiastic volunteer helpers who believe in furthering the cause "pro bono." Many of us possess CCW's and we consider ourselves to be responsible citizens, well aware of the awesome responsibility of concealed carry.

Team Billy Jack is available to answer routine queries through this website on a "no charge" basis. As such, the answers are not legal advice and no responsibility can be taken for their accuracy. However, unlike the advice you might receive on a public forum, Billy Jack answers are carefully thought out and researched as necessary; we do not hazard wild guesses.

Team Billy Jack's services go further for those candidates who are serious applicants for a CCW permit, but who might not receive one for a number of reasons. Team Billy Jack will hold confidential discussions with anyone who considers that this is appropriate, and will discuss the terms of a professional engagement with suitably qualified applicants.

Team Billy Jack only undertakes a minimal number of professional cases and does not take any case unless it is thought to be winnable.
